Training Hour Information

The following training programs contain Ethics hours in the total number of hours.  They may be counted as Ethics training hours for renewals and when applying for credentials, whether the training certificate specifically mentions the Ethics hours or not. 

  • Missouri Recovery Support Specialist Training:  6 Ethics hours
  • Harm Reduction Training: 3 Ethics hours
  • Advanced Peer Supervision Training: 3 Ethics hours
  • Pregnant and Parenting Families: 3 Ethics hours
  • Certified Peer Specialist Training: 3 Ethics hours
  • Family Support Provider Training: 3 Ethics hours
  • Youth Peer Specialist Training: 3 Ethics hours

Peer Supervision Training

This free training is strongly recommended for anyone who is currently supervising or will be supervising a CPS in the future. It covers the procedure for an individual to become a peer through the MCB, as well as some important basics on supervising peers, such as how to bill for peer services, create a job description for a peer, and what services a peer can and should provide. This is a self-guided course, and after you register, you will have access to the online course. You will watch four videos and answer questions for each one, in addition to reading ten documents and completing the attached quizzes. When you have finished the quizzes and submitted the evaluation, you will be given a certificate of completion valid for 6 contact hours.

Clinical Supervision Certification Training

This training is now open to anyone however MCB supervision numbers will only be assigned at the end of the training to those holding one of the following: CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, CCDP, CCDP-D, RADC, RADC-P, SQP/SQP-R, LPC, LCSW, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist

MCB Ethics Training

This training will focus on ethical principles and ethical dilemmas and allow professionals to discuss real life ethical issues.
