Job Description: Position Summary
The Recovery Support Specialist for the Welcome House Sober Living Recovery program works with the Director of Recovery and Support Services and Care Team to ensure the delivery of the program’s mission and is responsible for providing program and recovery support services to residents and their families. In general, these responsibilities include the admission and discharge processes, case management, coordination with outside agencies, the house milieu, program participation and completion, rules compliance, employment and program fee collection.

Requirements: Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Help individuals connect with other people in recovery and their communities at large in order to develop a recovery network
• Share experiences of recovery, share and support the use of recovery tools and model successful behaviors
• Help individuals make independent choices and to take a proactive role in their recovery
• Assist individuals in identifying strengths and personal resources to aid in their setting and achieving recovery goals
• Assist individuals in following through on their goals and successfully completing the program
• Support efforts to find and maintain employment
• Assist with health and wellness activities
• Manage resident program participations and facilitate referrals to other outside agencies and services
• Document all resident program participation, interactions, activities and interventions in the electronic health or program record, Community Care Link
• Perform other duties or special projects consistent with the goals of the organization, program resident success and as necessary, required or directed by the President & CEO, Director of Recovery and Support Services, and VP of Programs/Operations.
• Maintain applicable certifications
Requirements- CPS, Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
