Intended Audience Peer Support Specialists Substance Use Disorder Professionals Behavioral Health Providers Prevention Specialists Supervisors and Program Administrators Learning Objectives Upon completion, participants will be able to: 1. Identify the population and methodology used in the NSDUH. 2. Differentiate between categories of substance use, misuse, and disorders. 3. Interpret national trends related to mental health and substance use. 4. Apply NSDUH findings to prevention, treatment, and recovery planning. 5. Demonstrate understanding through successful completion of a competency-based assessment. Assessment Instructions (Learner-Facing) Answer all 30 questions. Questions include True/False and Multiple Choice. A passing score of 80% (24 out of 30) is required.
