Fall Renewal Process

Please Watch the Video Before You Begin Your Renewal

Renewal applications submitted or postmarked between July 2026 and September 30, 2026 will be charged the standard renewal fee. Applications submitted or postmarked from October 1, 2026 through October 31, 2026 will be charged an additional processing fee.

Due to the high volume of applications received at the end of the renewal period, the Board cannot guarantee that credentials submitted or postmarked on or after October 1, 2026 will be renewed before the end of the month. To offset the increased administrative workload and system demands during this peak period, an enhanced processing fee will be charged for applications submitted or postmarked on or after October 1, 2026. Credential holders are strongly encouraged to renew early to avoid delays, additional fees, or a lapse in credential status.

Renewal applications submitted or postmarked after October 31, 2026 will require reinstatement and will be charged all applicable reinstatement fees. Applicants must complete a reinstatement application to regain credential status.

YPS Renewal and Inactive Fee Information

YPS Renewals & Inactive Fees:
To maintain a Youth Peer Support (YPS) certification, you must first renew your Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification. Please note that the YPS is not a standalone certification. The cost for the YPS certification is an additional $27.50.

If the YPS certification is inactive, the renewal fee will be $38.00, plus any fees associated with other certifications you choose to keep active or inactive. Additional fees will apply based on the total number of certifications you renew.

If your YPS certification renewal date does not align with your CPS renewal date, please contact the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB) office, and we will assist you with syncing your certifications.
Crisis Responsive Peer (CRP) Renewals & Inactive Fees:
